Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud platforms, automation, and infrastructure management. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline our development and deployment processes.Key Responsibilities : CI/CD Pipeline Management : - Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.- Integrate various tools and platforms to optimize CI/CD workflows.Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : - Develop and manage infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and resilient.- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management processes.Cloud Services Management : - Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Implement and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, databases, and networking.- Monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.Monitoring and Logging : - Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.- Proactively identify and address system issues and bottlenecks.- Implement monitoring solutions to track application and infrastructure performance.Security and Compliance : - Implement security best practices and compliance controls in DevOps processes.- Manage access controls, identity and access management (IAM), and secure coding practices.- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.Collaboration and Support : - Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support application development and deployment.- Provide guidance and support for DevOps tools and practices.- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely resolution of production issues.Scripting and Automation : - Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline routine tasks and processes.- Use scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate workflows.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 6 to 10 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related role.- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.- Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.- Understanding of network and security best practices.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
