Description:
Responsibilities :- Lead and manage Android mobile application teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.- Ensure adherence to Human Interface Guidelines and coding standards in all development activities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer solutions using Git workflows in an agile environment.- Utilize MVVM pattern effectively in application architecture and design.- Leverage advanced features of the Kotlin programming language, including coroutines, flows, suspended functions, and async, for efficient and robust code implementation.- Implement coroutines for API calls to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness.- Develop and maintain unit tests using appropriate testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.- Demonstrate expertise in the Android build system from end-to-end, including configuration and optimization.- Proficiency in scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and streamline development processes.- Conduct UI and unit testing to validate functionality and user experience.- Contribute to framework development and continuous improvement of development practices.- Experience with Gitlab pipelines for automated testing and deployment.- Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain codebase quality and consistency.- Lead team members effectively and manage technical stakeholders by communicating project requirements, progress, and technical insights.Requirements :- At least 10+ years of native Android development experience in Kotlin.- Experience in leading Android mobile application teams.- Understanding the Human Interface Guidelines.- Experience in engineering cooperation using Git workflows.- Experience working in an agile environment as part of a mid-sized engineering team.- Deep understanding of design patterns, experience working with MVVM pattern.- Deep understanding of the Kotlin programming language (memory management, multithreading, advanced language features, coroutines, flows, suspended functions, async).- Experience using coroutines for API calls- Experience in unit testing frameworks- Deep understanding of the Android build system end-to-end - Experience with scripting languages- Experience in UI and unit testing- Experience in framework development.- Experience with Gitlab pipelines.- Competent in Code Review & Coding Standards- Lead team members and manage technical stakeholders (ref:hirist.tech)
