Job Summary :- We are looking for a highly experienced Embedded Tester with expertise in embedded firmware testing, industrial automation protocols, and IoT projects.- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting device and gateway testing, along with proficiency in Python programming.- This role requires previous experience in IIoT and IoT projects, with knowledge of protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, Bacnet, Open ADR, ASCII, REST API, and MQTT.- Additionally, familiarity with Linux, Windows 10, Kubernetes, and Agile testing methodologies is essential.- The Embedded Tester will be responsible for test planning, test case writing, execution, and reporting, ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded systems.Key Responsibilities :Embedded Firmware Testing :- Conduct embedded firmware testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of embedded systems.Industrial Automation Protocols :- Utilize industrial automation protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, and Bacnet for testing and integration with embedded systems.Device and Gateway Testing :- Perform testing on devices and gateways to ensure compatibility, connectivity, and interoperability.IoT Project Expertise :- Apply expertise in IIoT and IoT projects, including knowledge of protocols like Open ADR, ASCII, REST API, and MQTT.Automation Skills :- Develop and execute automated tests using Python and Python frameworks such as Robot and Pytest.Agile Testing:- Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Test Planning and Reporting:- Plan and execute test plans, write test cases, and generate test reports to document testing activities and results.Bug Management:- Understand the bug life cycle and effectively report, track, and manage software defects.Requirements:Minimum Education Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.- Full-time education background.Experience Required: 10 to 12 years.- Proficiency in embedded firmware testing, Python programming, and industrial automation protocols.- Previous experience in IIoT and IoT projects.- Knowledge of Linux, Windows 10, Kubernetes, and Agile testing methodologies.- Strong automation skills using Python and Python frameworks.- Familiarity with test planning, test case writing, execution, and reporting.- Understanding of bug life cycle and bug management.
