Job Description Fulfill the role of a Storage SME and or Team Lead Troubleshoot complex SAN infrastructure issues and works with customers both internal and external to effectively resolve issues Ability to lead escalations within Storage and cross platform Be the point of contact for internal and external communications Coordinating the storage tower cross delivery country location Perform security related tasks which include documentation vulnerability scan review assessment support patch management and auditing Input to and write High Level Designs Implement standards policies and procedures for continual service improvement Reviews performance metrics and reports provided by the other teams Fulfill the Architect role and develops and implements full scale Storage Area Network SAN architecture Defines and sets a strategic direction for the SAN and backup environment Designs and implements customer storage requirements into an enterprise solution Produces standards and implementation processes for storage configuration optimization replication virtualization storage security and disaster recovery Reviews plans and participates in executing regularly scheduled maintenances and or projects on the storage infrastructure Develops technical documentation tiered storage and storage as a service roadmaps presentations and cost models Business continuity DR BC planning implementation and testing Automation of repeatable tasks Interact with senior internal and external stakeholders on significant technical matters as it relates to organizational objectives Primary Skills Dell EMC VMAX storage Dell EMC PMAX(Powermax) storage. EMC Isilon EMC Unity SAN Storage Dell EMC ISILON Storage Secondary Skills Knowledge and practical experience of DELL and EMC Storage SAN, NAS technologies and Storage domain Have a practical working knowledge EMC VNX EMC VMAX3 Powermax EMC VNX EMC Isilon Storage Boxes Provide performance tuning and troubleshooting of all DELL storage technologies
