Job Title : Firewall Administrator Location : Kolkata, India. Experience : 4-12 years. Key Responsibilities :- Configure, deploy, and maintain firewall devices and software.- Develop and enforce firewall policies and rulesets.- Monitor firewall logs and respond to security incidents.- Collaborate with IT teams to align firewall configurations with network architecture.- Conduct security assessments and audits of firewall configurations.- Provide technical support and guidance on firewall-related issues.- Document firewall configurations and generate reports on firewall activity.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 4-12 years of experience in network security administration.- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.- Hands-on experience with firewall technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewall rules, policies, NAT configurations, VPN setups, and firmware upgrades.- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and security best practices.- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
