Description:
Responsibilities : 1. Hardware Design : - Designing and developing electronic hardware components and systems based on project requirements. - This involves schematic capture, component selection, and layout design.2. Embedded Hardware : - Designing embedded systems and integrating hardware with firmware/software. - Collaborating with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.3. Analog Mixed Signal : - Designing and analyzing analog mixed signal circuits, including amplifiers, filters, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), and digital-to-analog converters (DACs).- Optimizing circuit performance, noise reduction, and signal integrity.4. FPGA Development : - Designing and implementing hardware using FPGA technology.- Developing FPGA designs, including logic design, timing constraints, and verification.- Familiarity with hardware description languages (HDLs) such as VHDL or Verilog.5. Controller Systems : - Designing and integrating microcontrollers and other control systems into hardware designs. - Developing firmware/software for control interfaces and communication protocols.6. High-Speed Signals : - Designing and validating high-speed digital interfaces, including high-speed memory interfaces, Ethernet, USB, and other high-speed serial interfaces. - Ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and compliance with industry standards.7. Testing and Debugging : - Conducting hardware testing, verification, and debugging to ensure proper functionality and performance. - Collaborating with test engineers to develop test plans and ensure product quality.8. Documentation : - Creating and maintaining detailed design documentation, including schematics, design specifications, test plans, and reports.Skills and Qualifications : 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.2. Strong knowledge and experience in embedded hardware design and development.3. Proficiency in analog mixed signal circuit design and analysis.4. Experience with FPGA development tools and technologies.5. Knowledge of microcontrollers and other control systems.6. Familiarity with high-speed signal design principles and techniques.7. Understanding of digital design fundamentals, including logic gates, flip-flops, and state machines.8. Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as VHDL or Verilog.9. Ability to analyze and debug complex hardware systems.10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.11. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.12. Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.13. Knowledge of PCB layout design and familiarity with EDA tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence.14. Experience with hardware testing, verification, and validation. (ref:hirist.tech)
