Position Title : Hardware Engineer/Lead (PCB Expert)Department : Research & DevelopmentEducation Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech- ElectronicsTechnical Expertise :- Worked on PCB Software like Altium, PADs.to Design PCB Artwork.- Knowledge of various guidelines/standards applicable for PCB design- Worked on various Single layer, double layer and multilayer boards for Embedded controller and Power Electronics.- Exposure to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatible (EMC) tests and requirements- Understanding of all Embedded Hardware Testing,- Knowledge of thermal analysis and EMC analysis software.Job Purpose :1) Understand requirements of PCB, capture design in schematics and design PCB Layout for all controllers. 2) Understand and define the DFA, DFM, ICT, FCT requirements at EMS suppliers and in factory. 3) Simulation of PCB design for EMI/EMC and Thermal Analysis 4) Hardware testing of Controllers.Key Deliverables :- PCB Circuit Design : Understand Circuit Diagram requirement, BOM and Mechanical fitment details and gather requirements for PCB and capture in schematics- PCB Artwork Development: Understand PCB design requirements, constraints and compliance requirement and accordingly design PCB artwork- PCB Library: Develop and maintain PCB library based on project requirement- PCB Verification: DFA / DFM analysis of PCB, interact with CFT, EMS or PCB vendor for ICT, FCT and other relevant requirements.- PCB Design Simulation : Simulate PCB design for EMI-EMC, Thermal analysis and other requirements related to PCB artwork design (ref:hirist.tech)
