Overview : We seek a skilled IBM MQ Administrator to join our team in ensuring our messaging infrastructure's smooth operation and optimization. The ideal candidate will have substantia experience in administering IBM MQ, a strong understanding of messaging technologies, and a. proactive approach to problem-solving. This is an onsite opportunity to contribute to the seamless. functioning of critical systems.Responsibilities :- Manage, administer, and maintain IBM MQ infrastructure across various environments.- Install, configure, and upgrade IBM MQ software and related components.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of messaging systems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain messaging solutions.- Develop and implement best practices for IBM MQ configurations, security, and performance tuning.- Perform routine maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery procedures for messaging systems.- Create and maintain documentation, including operational procedures and system configurations.- Provide support, guidance, and training to junior team members as needed.- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in messaging administration.Requirements :- 6 or more years of hands-on experience in IBM MQ administration.- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM MQ in enterprise environments.- Strong knowledge of messaging concepts, protocols, and technologies.- Experience in performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting IBM MQ issues.- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks.
