Job Description :Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Node.js microservicesImplement APIs using RESTful principles and best practicesWork collaboratively with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and backend layersQuery/Update data with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDBWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessionsWrite unit and integration tests to ensure code qualityMonitor and troubleshoot microservices to ensure high availability and performanceWork with Scrum SDLC including sprints, demos, etc.Qualifications :Proven experience as a Node.js developer with 5+ years of experienceStrong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programmingExperience with popular Node.js frameworks (e.g. KOA, Joi, Objection)Experience with building and deploying microservicesFamiliarity with API design principles (RESTful APIs)Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data access tools (ORMs)Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)Excellent problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamNice to Have :Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS CI/CD) (ref:hirist.tech)
