Job Description :We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevSecOps Lead to lead the development and maintenance for one of telecom domain based project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, DevSecOps, and containerization technologies. As a DevSecOps Lead, the candidate will ensure the integration of robust security practices into our DevOps processes, fostering a secure and efficient pipeline environment.Key Responsibilities :1.Lead Role :- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of DevSecOps engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.- Provide technical directions and oversight to team members to deliver the project on-time and with quality2. Pipeline Development and Maintenance :- Manage the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of the OnePipeline project, ensuring high availability and reliability.- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab CI to support seamless development and deployment processes.3. Technology and Automation :- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration, ensuring scalable and efficient application deployment.- Manage and optimize the OpenShift environment for enhanced performance and security.- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to streamline operations and enhance productivity.4. Security Integration :- Integrate security practices into all stages of the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.- Perform security assessments and audits and implement necessary controls and remediation.5. Collaboration and Communication :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, client team, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure smooth and secure project delivery.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.Expected Skills :- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and management.- Extensive experience in DevSecOps practices and principles.- Hands-on experience with Gitlab CI for continuous integration and deployment.- Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience with OpenShift for managing containerized applications.- Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell scripting.- Excellent communication skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications :- Relevant certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, or security domains.- Experience in the telecom industry or working on large-scale projects.Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
