Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented PMO with excellent communication skills to join our team. As a PMO , you will play a key role in supporting project management activities, stakeholder management, vendor management, resource management, and ensuring the smooth operation of our project management office.Responsibilities :- Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and executing project activities.- Provide administrative support for project documentation, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking action items.- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external vendors.- Coordinate meetings, gather requirements, and ensure alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations.- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to procure goods and services required for project execution.- Negotiate contracts, review vendor proposals, and ensure compliance with project requirements and budget constraints.- Resource Management: Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning for project teams.- Maintain resource schedules, track resource utilization, and identify potential resource constraints or bottlenecks.- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide visibility into project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).- Utilize tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and present findings to project stakeholders.- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the project management office.- Implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and tools to streamline project delivery and enhance organizational effectiveness.- Risk and Issue Management: Assist project managers in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.- Maintain risk and issue registers, track mitigation actions, and escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks.- Conduct quality reviews of project deliverables to verify adherence to project requirements and quality standards.- Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to project team members on project management processes, tools, and methodologies.- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance project management capabilities across the organization.Requirements :- Degree in a related field.- Proven experience in project management office (PMO) coordination or project support roles.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Experience in stakeholder management, vendor management, and resource management.- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.- Experience in the IT industry or technology projects is preferred.Location: PAN INDIA, BANGALORE (ref:hirist.tech)
