Job Overview:As an Infor XA Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and functional support for the implementation, customization, and ongoing maintenance of the Infor XA ERP system. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, configure the system to meet their needs, and ensure successful adoption and utilization of the software.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into system configurations and customizations within the Infor XA platform.- Install, configure, and maintain the Infor XA software environment, including servers, databases, and application components.- Customize and extend the functionality of Infor XA through programming, scripting, and integration with other systems using tools such as RPG, CL, SQL, and APIs.- Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to educate end-users on the use of Infor XA features and functionalities.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of the Infor XA system.- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in ERP technology, particularly within the manufacturing and distribution industry, and proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, developers, and quality assurance testers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting the Infor XA ERP system.- Strong technical skills in RPG, CL, SQL, and other programming languages and tools commonly used in the IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment.- Solid understanding of manufacturing and distribution business processes, including inventory management, production planning, procurement, and financials.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams to drive project success.- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and providing exceptional customer service.- In-depth knowledge of ERP implementation methodologies, best practices, and quality assurance processes.- Relevant certifications in Infor XA or related technologies are a plus.Technical Skills:Infor XA ERP System, RPG, CL, SQL, APIs, IBM iSeries (AS/400) , Environme , SQL, APIs IBM iSeries (AS/400) EnvironmentEducational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
