Description:

Responsibilities :- Engineer production-quality, reusable, and maintainable code for cloud-based microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and React.- Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation practices, and foster a culture of software craftsmanship through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test-First Development (TDD).- Implement solutions that delight customers and partner software engineers by exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional results.- Monitor and evaluate the performance of our software solutions to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal functionality.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams working on commercial and fleet software solutions.- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.- Utilize cloud-based development tools and integrate solutions with Ford enterprise systems.Qualifications :Minimum Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. -2+ years of experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.- Experience with modern relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL).- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, Harness, Apigee X).- 1+ years of experience developing and deploying applications to cloud platforms (GCP, PCF, AWS, Azure).- Experience with unit testing methodologies.Preferred Qualifications :- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.- Experience with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices, including pair programming, mob programming, TDD.- Experience with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful web services development.- Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling, and data analysis.- Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally) or similar Agile project management tools.- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical specialists, product managers, UI/UX designers, and business partners.- Passion for learning and a willingness to work in a pair programming environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Ability to multi-task, manage changing priorities, and meet deadlines.- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and take initiative.- Understanding of fundamental data modeling concepts.- Experience developing microservices architectures.
