Join our Ingredient Data Maintenance team at Colgate-Palmolive, a group dedicated to upholding the safety and compliance of our products, reinforcing the trust and quality that define our brand. Your Role in Colgate’s CBS EHS Team As a Junior Analyst on our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team, you'll play a crucial role in handling and substantiating environmental and ethical claims. You'll be a key player in our audit processes, including Enhanced Supplier Management (ESM) and Supplier Responsible Sourcing Assessment (SRSA). Your efforts will also bolster our Water Stewardship and Climate Maturity initiatives, aligning our business practices with our pledge to environmental stewardship. Who are you? Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously An effective communicator who excels in engaging with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. A proactive and self-driven individual who flourishes with taking initiative. Open to learning and adopting new methodologies and technologies Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. You connect the dots: You possess a keen eye for validating environmental and ethical claims, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Your proficiency in data management supports informed decision-making and sustainability efforts. You excel in encouraging relationships with suppliers and business partners to secure essential compliance documents. You are a collaborator: Partnership & Collaboration is second nature to you, and you thrive when working alongside others to collect and analyze data. Your communication skills shine when coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders. You are an innovator: You are open to new technologies and methodologies in EHS. You are proactive and self-motivated, always looking for ways to improve processes and systems. What you’ll need… A Master's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry/Biochemistry or a related scientific field. A great foundation in environmental science or related field, with a passion for sustainability. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration. An Organized, thorough, and capable of handling multiple tasks. Knowledge of raw materials and their EHS profiles. An understanding of company-specific data systems is a plus.
