Junior Database Developer - Web ReportsJoin us as a Junior Database Developer on our Web Reports team in our Kolkata office to get the opportunity to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in our journey of enabling retail in India.What You'll Achieve :As a database Developer, you will be a key member of the Database Group responsible enhanced reporting capability of the product with BI Reports and overall database support with concentration in back-end programming. The database Developer will be responsible to properly maintain source code sets and necessary technical documentation for design and delivery of reports, and overall database maintenance.You will :- Develop and maintain Oracle PLSQL code for various applications and databases.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and implement database solutions.- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of code.- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and optimize SQL queries.- Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs and code implementations.- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in Oracle PLSQL development.Essential Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PLSQL development.- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and SQL programming.- Experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c) and Oracle PL/SQL programming.- Familiarity with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing techniques.Desirable Requirements :- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Certification in Oracle Database or PL/SQL is a plus.- Knowledge of SQLServer and PostgreSQL is a plus.Benefits :We like to think that talent grows at Ginesys and stays at Ginesys.
