We serve clients by practicing an employee-centric culture and creating an environment where ideas, creativity, free-flowing communication and innovation is encouraged to create better products and services.Role Overview : As an Engineering Manager, you'll leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the development of innovative products and solutions. You'll provide guidance to engineers, lead design reviews, resolve technical issues, and actively contribute to the codebase every day. Responsibilities :- Lead requirement analysis, detailed design, and verification activities for products or solutions.- Make critical design trade-offs and decisions regarding features, schedule, quality, and cost.- Identify optimal technology solutions, leveraging both internal and external options, and apply appropriate methodologies to address issues and concerns.- Take primary accountability for major project elements, defining all required tasks and ensuring successful project outcomes.- Design, develop, or direct research and testing to validate the effectiveness and consequences of designs, processes, or product enhancements across projects and/or products.- Proactively establish measures and standards of success for project, product, and process quality within project teams.- Create and enforce team processes and technical standards. Requirements/Skills :- 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.- Minimum 8 years of configuration management development experience.- Experience with decoupling large applications and containerization.- Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSocket, and network programming is a plus.- Experience with Terraform and Puppet is highly desirable.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Scrum team environment.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.- Excellent decision-making skills to analyze design trade-offs considering features, schedule, quality, and cost.- Ability to operate independently in a distributed team. Education and Experience :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required (ref:hirist.tech)
