Position Name : Lead Engineer- DevOpsExperience : 7 YearsJoining Location : Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru (Hybrid Mode)Notice Period : Immediate - 15 daysQualification :- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer engineering or a relevant field.- Minimum 7-8 Years of relevant experience as a DevOps Lead.Roles and Responsibilities :- Work with multiple client engagement(s) to provide DevOps+Cloud related Strategy/Implementation and solutions- Develop well-structured, modular, optimized, secure and clean code that is testable.- Work on internal and client-bound initiatives to solve challenging problems- Learning and sharing knowledge with colleagues and across the team- Estimate enhancement to an existing project as well as new projects.- Translate business requirements to technical requirements.- Take the initiative and work on solutions aligned to the company goal.- Stay up to date with new technology trends and apply them in daily work.- Review code and process followed by team and provide feedback- Create and maintain required technical and non-technical documents. - Collaborate effectively with other teams/team members via verbal or written communication. - Adhere to established best practices and guide team members to follow them.- Mentor team members and help them grow next level.- Contribute towards Organizational goals like hiring/recruitment- Follow strong quality standards, industry best practices, methodology, and architecture patterns in the development.Skills :- Should have a really good understanding of 12-factor app principles- Should have experience in working on a SaaS/PaaS-based application- Accountable for designing, building, and optimizing automation systems- Should contribute towards technical community and blogs- Should understand the well-architected framework and design principles for the architecture- Proficient with git workflow and related process- Hands-on experience in working with version control systems (Git, Github, SVN, BitBucket, GitLab etc.), including branching and merging strategies- Practitioner of secure and clean coding and unit testing practice- More focused on re-usability and modular code design approach- Experience with Linux environments and scripting languages (any one of the following will do Python, Ruby, Bash, Go, Groovy)- Experience with Networking Concepts (TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, Load Balancing, Reverse Proxy etc.)- Technical hands-on experience with Public and Private cloud solutions (Any of AWS, GCP, Azure, Openshift)- Technical hands-on experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, CircleCI, TravisCI etc.)- Should have an understanding of Deployment strategies like Blue-green, Canary, A/B- Should have working experience on Serverless technologies like Lambda, Azure Functions- Practical experience with K8s, envoy, API gateway (Kong/Ambassador/Traefik)- Experienced with infrastructure as code & Configuration management with tools like Terraform, Ansible etc- Experienced in observability practices and toolchains (Monitoring, Metrics, Logging, Alerts & Tracing)- Well-versed with Cloud security / DevSecOps Practices and its implementation- Experience with Container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (and/or its managed cloud service offerings like EKS, AKS, GKE)- Deploy and manage Container's orchestration, Service mesh, API gateways, CI/CD components & Observability stacks- Must have experience with Service Discovery, Service Mesh and ObservabilityNice to have :- AWS DevOps Professional Certification- AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification- Certified Kubernetes Administration (CKA Certified) (ref:hirist.tech)
