Description:

Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across our infrastructure (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS - specify relevant distributions).- Perform system administration tasks including user and group management, disk space management, and package installation.- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash or Python.- Implement security best practices to harden Linux systems and protect against vulnerabilities.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.- Participate in capacity planning and implement solutions for scalability and resource optimization.- Stay up-to-date on the latest Linux distributions, security updates, and best practices.- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation and integration within the infrastructure.- Document configurations and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.Qualifications :- In-depth knowledge of Linux administration concepts, including command line (Bash), shell scripting, and system configuration tools.- Experience with package management systems (e.g. , Yum, Apt).- Familiarity with storage technologies like LVM and RAID (a plus).- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS) (a plus).- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.- A proactive and results-oriented approach.Benefits :- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies- Work on challenging and impactful projects in a fast-paced environment- Continuous learning and development opportunities (ref:hirist.tech)
