Job Description :As a MIL Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive embedded software through rigorous testing procedures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to verify and validate Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and functionality. Your expertise in MIL testing, along with your proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and CAPL, will be instrumental in executing test cases and automating testing processes.Key Responsibilities :Develop and execute test plans and test cases for MIL and SIL testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software requirements.Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to identify test scenarios and validate software designs.Utilize Python scripting and CAPL scripting to automate test procedures and improve testing efficiency.Perform static code analysis using tools like PolySpace to identify potential defects and ensure code compliance with industry standards.Conduct regression testing to verify software modifications and enhancements.Document test results, track defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders.Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automotive software testing.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (BTECH/BE preferred).2.5 to 12 years of experience in MIL and SIL testing within the automotive domain.Proficiency in C language for software development and debugging.Strong understanding of Model-Based Design (MBD) methodologies and tools.Experience with Python scripting and CAPL scripting for test automation.Familiarity with static code analysis tools such as PolySpace.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
