More than 3,000 customers and managed service providers rely on Netenrich to deliver secure operations at a scale.Job Title : Cybersecurity Data EngineerYears of Experience : 3+ YearsWork Location : Hyderabad/Bangalore.Job Summary :We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cybersecurity Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our security data pipeline, including writing custom parsers to ingest and normalize data from various security tools and sources. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our security data, which is essential for our ability to detect and respond to cyberattacks.Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement custom parsers to ingest and normalize data from various security tools and sources, using languages such as Python and Go.- Develop and maintain security data pipelines, utilizing tools like Apache Kafka and Airflow.- Ensure the quality and integrity of security data through data validation and cleansing techniques.- Collaborate with security analysts and engineers to identify and prioritize data needs.- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate data processing and analysis tasks.- Proactively monitor the security data pipeline for performance and identify opportunities for improvement.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our security data lake.- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role.- Strong experience with Python and Go.- Experience with writing custom parsers.- Experience with data pipelines and streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Airflow).- Experience with security data and analytics tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Bonus Points :- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., MISP, The Hive).- Experience with security automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISA, OSCP).
