Position : Network ArchitectExperience : 7+ years (Relevant experience: 6 years minimum)Location : Bangalore - Work From Office mandatoryEmployment type : Permanent role with an Automotive Engineering Service CompanyJob Description :The Network Architect will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the platform infrastructure (Aurora) for current and future vehicle lines. This role requires extensive experience in platform architecture, network design, and change management within the automotive domain. The Network Architect will be responsible for driving platform change management, ensuring the seamless integration of new content, and maintaining platform deliveries. Additionally, conducting audits and designing SDB (Service Delivery Backbone) will be key responsibilities of the role.Key Responsibilities :Platform & Network Architecture: Design and develop the platform architecture (Aurora) to support current vehicle lines and future model year (MY) content.Change Management: Drive platform change management processes to ensure the smooth integration of new features and functionalities.Platform Maintenance: Maintain platform deliveries and ensure the stability and reliability of the platform infrastructure.Audits: Conduct regular audits to assess the performance, security, and compliance of the platform infrastructure.SDB Designing: Design and implement Service Delivery Backbone (SDB) solutions to support efficient and reliable communication across the network.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system engineers, and project managers to align platform architecture with business requirements and project goals.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform architecture, design decisions, and change management processes.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in network architecture, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.Proficiency in platform architecture design and development, with a strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.Experience with platform change management processes and tools.Knowledge of automotive-specific network protocols and standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
