Key Roles and Responsibilities : - Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.- Perform hands-on installation and maintenance tasks on network components such as routers, switches, and cables.- Monitor network activity and configure network systems using complex computer software - Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.- Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.- Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.- Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.- Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.- Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.- Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.- Coordinating computer network access and use.- Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes : - Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware - Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions - Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, controllers - Knowledge of application and network infrastructure protocols - Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems - Good analytical and problem-solving skills Academic Qualifications and Certifications : - Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field of study with a network engineering focus.- Relevant certifications, e.g. ITIL CCIE (Cisco), CCNP (Cisco), JNCIE-ENT (Juniper), Network+ (CompTIA), WCNA (Wireshark) Required Experience : - Demonstrated experience working in a networking environment - Experience with network security - WAN and LAN experience - Experience in wireless equipment, protocols, standards, and wireless LAN design Additional Job Description :- Expert level knowledge on Routing & Switching Technology- Minimum 9 to 12 years of experience in Network domain- Should have any of the following certifications like CCNP, CCIE or JNCIS, JNCIP or JNCIE or any equivalent.- Min 9 to 12 years of experience in Network technology.- Strong hands-on experience on cisco switches, Routers, Meraki devices and knowledge on SD-WAN will be added advantage.- Good knowledge on Juniper, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Firewalls- Hands-on experience with Juniper SRX troubleshooting and implementation of NAT, policies and new Tunnels will be added advantage.- Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting issues related to Nexus 5k, 7k and 9K series.- Expert Knowledge on Routers like Cisco series like 4500,6500, ASR and Juniper M/T series.- Good Knowledge and troubleshooting experience with MPLS.- Providing Hands and feet support for replacing Network Hardware in case of failures and up-gradation.- Co-ordinating with ISP vendors in case of link failures.- Documentation of Known error database and Knowledge Sharing to Team.- Expert level knowledge on Juniper, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto Firewalls.- Good hands-on experience with Juniper SRX troubleshooting and implementation of NAT, policies and new Tunnels.- Troubleshooting experience on Pulse Secure and Juniper SSL VPN.- Configure and troubleshooting on Palo Alto Firewall issues.- Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting issues related to Nexus 5k, 7k and 9K series with FEX.- Basic Knowledge on Switching and routing in cisco platform's series like 4500, 6500, ASR.- Basic Knowledge and troubleshooting issues with MPLS.- Replacing the network hardware in case of failures and upgrades.- Coordinating with ISP vendors in case of link failure.- Network connectivity troubleshooting - Documentation of Known error database.- Knowledge Sharing to Team.Location : Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
