We are currently seeking a Networking Senior Specialist to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN). Job Description: Grade-9 Conducting advanced technical reviews and problem resolutions, focused on improving performance levels of Network Switching operations Design architecture for Network Switching and Wireless solutions. Lead Technical initiatives mandated by Sr. Leadership completed within scope and timelines Implement Network Switching and Wireless solutions in a customer environment. Provide technical leadership and direction of Engineering group with upgrades, transitions, system design/ redesign as needed Lead Quality Reviews process as required supporting Project Handling Technical projects and report to Delivery/Top management. Provide operational support of the Network Data & Security environments. Will provide technical escalation to L2/L3 support engineers Provide On-call support for high severity incidents in a 24x7 environment Detect Network issues, create customer tickets and manage problems until closure. Act as point of escalation for the Network Data & Wireless team and collaborate with internal services support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Ensure that Service Level Agreements and operational standards are met. Perform system maintenance, checkups and maintain current documentation. Provide resolution plans for device issues. Propose service, process and technical improvements to management. Excellent Time Management skills required to properly manage operations duties and other task that will assist in the optimization of the firewall team Ability to chair bridge calls delegating tasks and drive to resolution Escalation calls for Technical Security issues collaborating with other support teams. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to grasp complex issues to arrive at optimal solutions Strong ethics and integrity Flexible to changing needs of customer , account and team Excellent customer facing communication skills, customer support and knowledge of ITIL best practices. Advanced experience and proven knowledge in different network data products likes Switches (CISCO and ENTERASYS), Wireless (Cisco & Aruba). Advanced networking troubleshooting skills and extensive knowledge of web connectivity and protocols (HSRP, VLANS, STP, OSPF, BGP and MPLS.) Experience deploying and supporting Switches and Routers.
