Role & Responsibilities : Collaborate on Report Design, Development, and Testing: Work closely with business users and team members to design, develop, and test paginated reports using custom Oracle SQL/MS SQL. Power BI Dashboard and Paginated Reports Development: Develop Power BI dashboards and paginated reports, utilizing both Power BI datasets and custom SQL queries. Optimize Slow Running Paginated Reports: Identify and address performance issues in paginated reports to optimize their speed and efficiency. Implement Best Practices in Paginated Reports: Ensure adherence to best practices in paginated report development, including layout, formatting, and data visualization. Data Modeling: Create simple to complex data models, with experience in multi-fact modeling being a plus. Ownership and Task Execution: Take ownership of assigned tasks and execute them with minimal supervision, meeting deadlines and quality standards. Prioritization and Multitasking: Juggle multiple assignments, identifying and prioritizing critical tasks effectively. Test Planning and Coordination: Develop test plans, execute them, and coordinate user testing with business users to ensure the accuracy and usability of reports. Documentation: Articulate and document development plans, project progress, and related information in written form for emails and project documentation. Adaptability to New Technologies: Exhibit flexibility in learning new technologies and tools used within the organization to support evolving project needs.Desired Skills :Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.MS SQL Server/Oracle PL SQL: Solid experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle PL SQL, capable of handling complex SQL queries.SSRS and Power BI: Excellent skills in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and paginated report development in Power BI.Project Development Life Cycle: Good knowledge of the full project development life cycle process.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to analyze data and identify insights.Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Project Type : ContractSkills : sql,project,skills,power bi,data,oracle,sql server,analytical skills,communication,communication skills (ref:hirist.tech)
