Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.Software Development Engineer 3 / Tech Lead Responsibilities: 1. Play the role of team lead and work closely with 2-4 engineers directly to drive development projects 2. Work with EM and architects to develop solutions which are scalable and robust 3. Mentor junior engineers in the team to drive excellence Requirements: 1. 4+ years of experience in Tech Product Development 2. Have experience working on technologies such as Node.js, Golang, Java, MySQL, Postgres, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra or similar 3. Experience working with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS or Azure. 4. Experience working with Microservices or distributed systems 5. Experience in developing and delivering products in a startup environment 6. Strong code reviewing skills 7. Excellent debugging and optimization skills. Nice to have: 1. Experience in working in a fast paced environment 2. Solid computer science fundamentals. 3. Proficient understanding of Web Fundamentals HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript 4. Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms in JS 5. Proficient understanding of at least one of the UI frameworks viz React, Angular 4+. 6. Good understanding of ES6 and above 7. Experience with Typescript is a plus 8. Sound knowledge of design patterns and practices for writing clean, linted, maintainable and reusable code 9. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. 10. Understanding of Version Control Systems like Git 11. Experience in using supplementary libraries like Redux, NgRx is a plus 12. Experience in TDD (Test Driven Development) for Unit Testing with libraries like Jasmine, Mocha, Simon, Karma etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
