Job Description :The PLM-Teamcenter Application Consultant will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of PLM concepts, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with Teamcenter configuration and administration.Key Responsibilities :Implementation and Configuration :- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective PLM solutions using Teamcenter.- Configure Teamcenter modules and workflows to meet the specific needs of clients.- Customize user interfaces, data models, and workflows as per project requirements.- Conduct testing and validation to ensure the stability and functionality of configured solutions.Administration and Support :- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Teamcenter installations, including troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems.- Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary.- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.Integration and Collaboration :- Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, and operations to ensure seamless integration and alignment of PLM solutions with business processes.- Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to promote user adoption and proficiency.- Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to PLM and Teamcenter.- Evaluate new features and functionalities of Teamcenter releases and provide recommendations for adoption.- Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize PLM workflows and enhance overall productivity.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Teamcenter PLM solutions.- Proficiency in Teamcenter administration, configuration, and customization.- Strong understanding of PLM concepts, including product data management, change management, and collaboration.- Experience with Teamcenter integrations with CAD and ERP systems is highly desirable.- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.- Certification in Teamcenter administration or relevant PLM certifications is a plus.
