Job Description :We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Power BI and SSRS Developer/Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis along with expertise in utilizing Power BI and SSRS tools to extract insights and create visually compelling reports and dashboards. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, designing and developing data models, and delivering actionable insights to drive decision-making.Responsibilities :- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for reporting and analysis.- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively present data insights.- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and manipulation.- Build and maintain data models to support reporting and analysis requirements.- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms.- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support ad-hoc data analysis requests.- Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing reporting tools and interpreting data.- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data visualization and reporting technologies. Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with strong proficiency in SQL querying and data manipulation.- Demonstrated expertise in developing Power BI reports and dashboards.- Proficiency in designing and developing SSRS reports.- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.- Experience with data visualization best practices and principles.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is a plus.- Certifications in Power BI or SQL Server technologies are desirable (ref:hirist.tech)
