Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python automation, API testing, and proficiency in coding with Python. This role will involve developing and maintaining automated test scripts, conducting API testing, and leveraging various tools and technologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for functional, regression, and integration testing. Design and implement test automation frameworks and infrastructure to support continuous testing and integration pipelines. Conduct API testing using Python-based testing frameworks such as requests or pytest, ensuring API functionality, performance, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements, identify test scenarios, and define test strategies. Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects using issue tracking systems. Requirements: Proven experience in Python automation, with a strong proficiency in Python programming. Extensive experience in API testing, including testing RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and microservices architectures. Hands-on experience with Python-based testing frameworks such as requests, pytest, or Robot Framework. Proficiency in writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code for test automation using Python. Familiarity with test automation tools and technologies, such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or JMeter. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
