Job Overview :A Senior Test Engineer will apply intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software testing tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Test enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.He/ she should be able to work autonomously with minimal direction.Responsibilities : - Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements and develop test scenarios, and test cases and execute them to ensure quality.- Carry out functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, back-end testing, and providing postproduction support.- Identifying, reporting, and supporting the resolution of system defects through the JIRA task management tool.- Work with business and technology leads to identify appropriate data for testing and prepare relevant test cases.Experience & Qualification :- 2-5 years of Experience- Minimum B Tech with Computer Science and IT background/B.SC (Computer Science)/MCA.- Health and Benefit Domain preferred.Technical Competencies :- Intermediate level knowledge of SQL and Excel- Prior experience with load testing tools (J Meter) or Bug Tracking tools (JIRA/HP ALM) is a strong asset.- Strong Knowledge of Manual Testing.- Experience with any Bug Tracking Tool (JIRA/HP ALM)- ISTQB certification is an asset.Personal Attributes :- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams.- Strong interpersonal, analytical & problem- solving skills through collaboration.- Results oriented.- Effective time management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines.- Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.- Strong Analytical Skills.- Quick and continuous learning.- Training and mentoring skills.We offer you :- A safe and dynamic work environment.- Be part of an amazing team.- Competitive benefits and time off plans.- Flexibility to work from home.- Continuous education & training.- Tremendous potential with a growing organization.
