About the Role : - We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications.- You will leverage your testing experience and expertise to identify and report bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers.Responsibilities : Test Planning & Execution : - Participate in test planning activities, understanding system requirements and test objectives.- Design and execute comprehensive test cases covering all functionalities across different platforms and devices.- Utilize various testing methodologies (e. g. , black-box, white-box testing) to ensure thorough test coverage.Bug Reporting & Tracking : - Effectively identify, document, and report bugs using a bug tracking system.- Work collaboratively with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.Test Automation (Optional) : - Experience with test automation tools (a plus) to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.- Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts to complement manual testing activities.Communication & Collaboration : - Maintain clear and concise communication with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders regarding testing progress and results.- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on potential quality concerns.Qualifications : - 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester or a similar role.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.- Experience in designing and executing test cases for various software functionalities.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot software defects.- Proficient in communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality.Bonus Points : - Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.- Knowledge of mobile app testing principles.- Experience with testing frameworks and tools like Selenium or Cypress (for test automation).- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
