Position Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing SaaS web applications, with a focus on ensuring high-quality software products that meet user needs and exceed expectations. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and executing test strategies to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our SaaS web applications.Responsibilities : Test Planning and Strategy : - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define test plans, strategies, and acceptance criteria for SaaS web applications.- Design and implement comprehensive test scenarios and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.Test Execution and Automation : - Execute manual and automated tests to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of SaaS web applications.- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Puppeteer.Defect Management and Reporting : - Identify, prioritize, and track defects found during testing, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.- Generate detailed defect reports and communicate testing results to relevant stakeholders, including recommendations for improvement.Regression Testing and Continuous Integration : - Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates, ensuring backward compatibility and stability of SaaS web applications.- Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.Performance and Load Testing : - Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate the scalability and reliability of SaaS web applications under various usage scenarios.- Analyze performance test results and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.Qualifications : Education and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance and testing of SaaS web applications.Technical Skills : - Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Puppeteer.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation and scripting.- Familiarity with web technologies and protocols, including HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as Sauce Labs or BrowserStack.- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices, including Scrum and Kanban.- Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g. ISTQB Certified Tester).
