Role Description:This is a full-time on-site position for an Arista Routing and Switching professional based in Gurugram. As part of the networking team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Arista network infrastructure. Your role will involve optimizing network performance, troubleshooting issues, implementing network solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.Key Responsibilities:- Network Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain the Arista network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and network management tools.- Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the network.- Performance Optimization: Optimize network performance by monitoring and analyzing network traffic, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.- Network Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted network services.- Network Security: Implement and maintain network security practices and protocols to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, to implement network solutions and address business requirements.Qualifications:- Arista Routing and Switching Expertise: Strong understanding of Arista Routing and Switching principles and protocols, with hands-on experience working with Arista switches, routers, and network management tools.- Network Security Knowledge: Familiarity with network security practices and protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, access control lists (ACLs), and security best practices.- Troubleshooting Skills: Experience with network troubleshooting methodologies and tools, with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and troubleshoot network problems effectively.- Excellent problem-solving skills to address issues promptly.- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.Preferred Qualifications:- Relevant Certifications: Certifications such as Arista Certified Engineering (ACE) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are beneficial and demonstrate a strong foundation in Arista Routing and Switching principles.- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
