Job Description : Sagar Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is one of India's legacy Film and TV Content production houses. Having produced numerous hit movies and shows in Entertainment, Factual, Epic genres; SPE is a trusted partner for the top TV channel networks and its shows are loved by audiences across the world!Looking for the finest people from the industry for a state of the art Film and Digital media production and R&D centre, being set up in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India.- Strong understanding of 'The Cut' and a understanding of Storytelling within The Film and Video Editing Domain in both Long and Short Formats. - Collaborate with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, creative vision, and desired outcomes.- Oversee the editing process from start to finish, including selecting footage, organizing raw materials, and creating compelling narratives.- Edit video content for various platforms, including web, mobile, social media, and broadcast, while maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.- Develop and implement efficient workflows, best practices, and quality control measures to streamline the editing process and maximize productivity.- Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continually enhance skills and improve editing capabilities.- Ensure timely delivery of edited content, adhering to project deadlines, budgets, and specifications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including producers, designers, and sound engineers, to ensure seamless integration of visuals, sound, and effects. - Seamlessly integrate the latest dailies from CG artists and external vendors into project sequences.- VFX Editing - Upkeep of timelines with dailies from in house artists and vendors and provide cuts for reviews.- Maintain an internal editorial VFX Pipeline and File Storage System.- Output sequence movie files, AIFF audio files, and EDLs. - Port AAF Files and OMF Files if requried.- Output Image Sequence shot frames. - Responsible for finals reels, consolidating media and final delivery data sets.
