About the Role :We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our growing team in Bengaluru. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a vital role in supporting our business operations and digital transformation initiatives through the development and implementation of innovative ABAP solutions.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement complex ABAP programs to automate business processes and improve efficiency.- Create user-friendly ALV reports for data analysis and visualization.- Develop and implement custom logic using User Exits to extend SAP functionality.- Leverage Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs) and IDocs for data exchange with external systems.- Utilize Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts to create maintainable and reusable ABAP code.- Participate in the entire development lifecycle, including unit testing and code reviews.- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and other developers to ensure solutions meet business requirements.- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ABAP applications.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in SAP ABAP and related technologies.Qualifications :- Proven experience developing and implementing SAP ABAP programs.- In-depth knowledge of ABAP syntax, data structures, and control flow statements.- Proficiency in creating user-friendly and informative ALV reports.- Experience with User Exits, BAPIs, and IDocs for data manipulation and integration.- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., ABAP Associate Certification) are a plus.- Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, JavaScript) is beneficial (ref:hirist.tech)
