Job Description:As an SAP PS (Project System) Consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and support of SAP Project System modules. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, map them to SAP functionality, and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs. You will also provide guidance to project teams, mentor junior consultants, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities :SAP PS Implementation and Support : - Utilize your 5-9 years of experience to lead SAP PS implementation projects and provide ongoing support.- Ensure successful delivery of SAP PS solutions that meet business requirements.Full Life Cycle Implementation : - Participate in 2+ full life cycle SAP ECC implementations or rollouts as an SAP PS consultant.- Follow ASAP methodology for SAP implementation and rollout projects.Business Requirement Mapping : - Translate various business requirements into standard SAP functionality.- Provide recommendations for best practices and solution design.SAP Customization : - Hands-on experience in SAP customization within SAP PS modules, including Project Profile, Network and Activity related profiles, Cost planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Settlement, and Result Analysis (RA).- Integration with Other SAP Modules : - Understand and manage integration points between SAP PS and other modules such as MM, FICO, and SD.- Ensure seamless data flow and process integration.Procurement and Billing : - Knowledge of project-related procurement processes and resource-related billing within SAP PS.- Documentation and Test Preparation: - Prepare functional documents, functional specifications, user manuals, and test scripts.- Ensure comprehensive documentation of solution design and configuration.Team Management and Mentoring : - Manage a team of 3-5 people, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and capabilities.- Lead by example and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Global Market Experience : - Experience working in a global market environment will be an advantage, with an understanding of cultural nuances and diverse business practices.S/4 HANA Experience : - Hands-on experience with S/4 HANA will be beneficial, although not mandatory.Project Leadership : - Lead small sub-projects within larger SAP implementation initiatives.- Coach other project personnel to ensure compliance with architectural standards, methodologies, and best practices.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.- 5-9 years of experience in SAP PS implementation and support roles, with a focus on SAP ECC implementations.- Strong understanding of SAP PS functionality, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.- Experience with ASAP methodology and full life cycle implementation projects.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.- Team leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to guide and develop junior consultants.- Certification in SAP PS or related modules will be an advantage.
