We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAS Viya Administrator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of our SAS Viya environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAS Viya administration principles, experience managing complex environments, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our SAS users.Responsibilities :System Administration :- Install, configure, and maintain SAS Viya software components across various environments (development, testing, production).- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within SAS Viya.- Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data security and business continuity.- Monitor system performance and resource utilization, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAS Viya updates, patches, and security best practices, implementing them effectively.User Support :- Provide technical support to SAS users, troubleshooting issues and resolving them efficiently.- Assist users with accessing and utilizing SAS Viya functionalities effectively.- Create and maintain user documentation for SAS Viya procedures and functionalities.Environment Management :- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAS Viya with existing infrastructure.- Manage storage allocation and optimize system resources for optimal performance.- Configure and maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive data within SAS Viya.Requirements :- 4 to 6 years of experience administering SAS environments, with a strong focus on SAS Viya.- In-depth knowledge of SAS Viya architecture, components, and functionalities.- Familiarity with SAS administration tools and utilities (SAS Management Console, SAS Environment Manager, etc.).- Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic understanding of networking concepts (a plus).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with users, IT teams, and other stakeholders.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.- A continuous learner with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAS Viya.
