About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior API Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining robust and scalable APIs using TIBCO technologies and Java. You will be responsible for the entire API lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration between our applications and external systems.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, document, and implement secure and efficient APIs using TIBCO BusinessWorks or a similar TIBCO product.- Utilize Java and TIBCO Java API libraries to customize and extend TIBCO solutions for specific business requirements.- Leverage messaging protocols like JMS and EMS for communication between APIs and backend systems.- Integrate TIBCO products with Java-based applications to create a unified integration platform.- Implement RESTful APIs, web services, and message-based communication patterns.- Optimize the performance and reliability of TIBCO integrations and middleware solutions.- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and manage APIs and TIBCO integrations on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.specify if applicable).- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of APIs and integrations.- Ensure code quality through code coverage and unit testing practices.- Maintain clear and concise documentation of API designs, architectures, and implementation details.- Understand and apply Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in TIBCO technologies, Java frameworks, and API design best practices.- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- In-depth knowledge of TIBCO BusinessWorks or a similar TIBCO product.- Strong proficiency in Java programming language (core Java, collections, concurrency).- Solid understanding of web service protocols (REST, SOAP) and API design patterns.- Experience with messaging protocols like JMS and EMS.- Experience with integrating TIBCO products with Java applications.- Familiarity with DevOps principles and deployment tools.- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure etc. specify if applicable) is a plus.- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (a plus).- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Benefits :- Opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects with cutting-edge technologies.- Work in a collaborative and supportive environment with a team of talented engineers.- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Continuous learning and development opportunities.
