Mandatory Skills : Atlassian products, Jira, ConfluenceSkill to Evaluate : : 4 to 8 YearsLocation : Bengaluru, Karnataka, IndiaJob Description :About this Position :APAR is looking for an IT Applications Administrator to become part of the IT Applications team that handles the SIE product/project management tools for revenue-generating business units, and trains SIE staff on the use of our applications such as Confluence and JIRA. Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to build both in-depth technical skills and an ability to develop exemplary client-facing skills. Candidate will develop front-end and administrative expertise with product/project management solutions and focus on supporting and administering applications, coordinating and responding to support requests, and managing and updating software and licenses.Responsibilities :- Independently manage and administer Atlassian products like JIRA and Confluence, as well as other product/project management tools- Work with customer teams on configuring and managing their workflows, user accounts, custom fields, dashboards etc. in JIRA. Create, copy, and manage JIRA projects based on user requirements- Work with customers & project teams to determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA setup and workflows. Monitor server usage and work with DevOps team to maintain architectural integrity- Establish and promote standard processes for the usage of Atlassian tools- Administer user permissions and security settings to ensure appropriate access levels- Work closely with the IT team on projects such as major upgrades, data migrations, automations, plugin selection, and integrations with other systems- Fix and resolve user issues- Create and maintain documentation on standard processes and usage guidelines- Test new features and functionalities introduced in vendor updates to ensure compatibility and optimal performance- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into project progress and team productivity- Write and update technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, RCA for Incidents and training materials- Ensure access to confidential data is appropriately restricted- Provide guidance and training to teams on usage of product/project management toolsQualifications :- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT-related field- 3+ years of experience in system administration- At least 2+ years of experience in configuration and customization of Atlassian tools- Good understanding of JIRA workflows, permissions schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, security, reporting, etc- Good understanding of Confluence space structure and permissions- Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring and administering Atlassian plugins- Experience with scripting / integration to automate business processes is a nice to have- Prior system administration experience involving performance tuning & troubleshooting- Solid understanding of troubleshooting and problem analysis procedures- Strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills, and attention to detail- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalEducation Qualification : BE/B.Tech/MCA (ref:hirist.tech)
