Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the entire test automation lifecycle, from designing and developing robust test frameworks to integrating them into our CI/CD pipeline. Your expertise in various automation tools, languages (Java/Python/C#), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software applications.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with programming languages like Java, Python, or C# (depending on the project).- Implement functional and unit/integration level testing for web applications and APIs using tools like JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, SoapUI, and Rest Assured.- Leverage frameworks like Robot Framework, TDD (Test-Driven Development), and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) with Cucumber for efficient test automation.- Develop reusable and maintainable automation frameworks for web and database testing.- Estimate the effort required for developing and executing automated test cases.- Utilize cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for test execution and infrastructure management (if applicable).- Manage version control using Git, Bitbucket, or SVN for code changes and collaboration.- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Docker containers.- Write and execute SQL queries to interact with databases for test data management.- Collaborate with development teams to understand system functionalities and requirements.- Participate in Agile development practices and provide feedback throughout the development lifecycle.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation testing tools and methodologies.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (a plus).- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on web applications and APIs.- Hands-on experience with Selenium and scripting languages like Java, Python, or C# for test automation.- Expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies (JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Robot Framework, TDD, BDD with Cucumber).- Experience in developing reusable and maintainable automation frameworks for web and database testing.- Ability to estimate and manage automation testing efforts effectively.- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for test automation (a plus).- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, or SVN.- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).- Experience with Docker containers for building and deploying test environments (a plus).- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for test data management.- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with development and QA teams.- Problem-solving skills and a passion for quality assurance.
