As a leading outsourcing partners, we are hiring Senior Data Engineer to work on a project for our client, which is the largest provider of telecoms and mobile money services in 14 countries spanning Sub-Saharan, Central, and Western Africa.Experience required : Minimum 3 years for experience in Data engineeringCTC Bracket : Max upto 29 LPAQualification : BE/B.Tech/ Graduation in computer stream.Base work location is Gurugram, with predominantly work from home; however, team members are required to come to the office a few times in a month for meeting purposes.Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days (Candidates with notice period of less than 30 days are preferred)Mandatory Skills : Python, SQL (Python developers are also preferred)Required Tech Skills :Proven experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role.Strong proficiency in Python programming language for data manipulation and automation.Expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.Experience with data modeling and database design principles.Good to have experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Job Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems.Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions.Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and recommend innovative solutions to improve our data infrastructure.
