About the Role :We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing data science team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in leveraging machine learning and data visualization techniques to solve complex business problems and drive impactful decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, build and deploy models, and communicate insights effectively through compelling visualizations.Responsibilities :Machine Learning Expertise :- Possess 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models for various applications.- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning) and statistical modeling techniques.- Experience with feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation methodologies.- Experience with machine learning frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.Data Visualization :- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib to create clear, informative, and visually appealing dashboards and reports.- Ability to translate complex data insights into compelling stories that effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Data Analysis & Communication :- Experience in working with large datasets from various sources (relational databases, NoSQL databases, cloud storage).- Ability to clean, pre-process, and transform data for analysis and modeling purposes.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with data engineers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders.- Ability to document technical work clearly and concisely.Additional Skills :- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage, processing, and model deployment is a plus.- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) for handling large datasets is a plus.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a curious and data-driven mindset.Qualifications :- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).- 7+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist or similar role.- Proven track record of successfully delivering impactful machine learning and data visualization projects.- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with SQL is essential.
