Job Overview :We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Director to lead our Digital Engineering Practice. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in building products, innovation in Product Engineering in Data & AI space, a proven track record of building and managing successful digital engineering practice growth, vision, P&L and a passion for delivering value creation to customers.Responsibilities :- Thought Leadership : Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to product and platform engineering teams, including front-end, back-end, and full-stack development.- Product Development : Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of innovative solutions. Directly contribute to coding and development efforts as needed.- Team Management : Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product and platform engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Evaluate and drive the professional development of team members.- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with other departments, including Product Management, Design, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.- Technology Roadmap: Define and execute a technology roadmap for product and platform development, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Drive the adoption of best practices and new technologies.- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce best practices for product and platform engineering, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and documentation standards. Ensure a focus on code quality and maintainability.- Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation within the engineering team, encouraging the exploration and implementation of new frontend, backend, and full-stack technologies and methodologies.- Technology Expertise: Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the Digital Engineering space, Implementation experience on AWS, Azure, GCP, ReactJS, Angular, Node JS, Java Spring boot, API is key. Thought leader in modern technologies in this space and building product offerings. Building custom product development for Data & Analytics is key to this role. - Pre sales and service offerings: Good at pre sales life cycle, estimation models and solution construct, able to create new service offerings for digital engineering which is relevant in Data & Analytics space.- Capability Building: Define roadmap for building capabilities, COE, training and best in class accelerators for digital engineering. Some of the key areas of capabilities needed are UX Design, Responsive WebApp Development, Low Code App development, DevSecOps, Cloud Ops, platform engineering, experience in building products in Data & Analytics is key. - Delivery Management: Roadmap to build delivery organization to deliver digital engineering projects. Deep expertise in showing value to customers and account mining strategy. Qualifications :- Overall, 15 years' experience in product development, product engineering including at least 5 years in Data & Analytics product development. Able to create product, design, development , testing and deployment of products.- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in a leadership role within Product and Platform Engineering with a strong development background.- Expertise in frontend, backend, or full-stack development technologies.- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
