Senior Engineer - Instrument SAP/System Applications & ProductsKey Responsibilities :SAP Implementation and Configuration : - Lead the implementation and configuration of the Instrumentation module within the SAP system. - Define system requirements, design data structures, configure master data, and customize functionalities to meet business needs.Integration and Data Migration : - Collaborate with other SAP module teams and external systems to ensure seamless integration of instrument-related data and processes.- Develop and execute data migration strategies, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during the migration process.System Support and Troubleshooting : - Provide technical support for the Instrumentation module, including troubleshooting system issues, resolving user inquiries, and conducting root cause analysis. - Collaborate with the SAP support team and external consultants to resolve complex technical problems.System Enhancements and Upgrades :- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and continuous improvement within the Instrumentation module. - Propose and implement system upgrades, new functionalities, and process optimizations to enhance efficiency and user experience.User Training and Documentation : - Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to educate end-users on SAP Instrumentation functionalities, processes, and best practices.- Develop training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures to support system utilization.Change Management : - Lead change management activities related to SAP Instrumentation, including assessing impacts, developing communication plans, and coordinating user acceptance testing. - Ensure smooth transitions for system enhancements, upgrades, and process changes.Project Management : - Lead or participate in cross-functional projects related to SAP Instrumentation implementation, upgrades, and process improvements. - Define project scopes, develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.System Security and Compliance : - Ensure compliance with SAP security protocols and data privacy regulations. - Implement security measures, user access controls, and audit trails to safeguard instrument-related data.System Performance Monitoring and Optimization : - Monitor system performance, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization measures to enhance system efficiency and responsiveness. - Conduct periodic system health checks and recommend system tuning activities.Industry Best Practices and Emerging Technologies : - Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to SAP Instrumentation.- Evaluate and recommend new functionalities, tools, and approaches to enhance the instrument-related processes within the SAP environment.
