Job Summary The Senior Consultant will be instrumental in managing IT projects centred around Configuration Pricing and Quote technologies. This role demands an initiative-taking approach to project leadership, offering support and guidance to junior team members, and a strong direct capability with Intelliquip CPQ application (now Revalize), Interfaces, and SAP Knowledge. We are seeking an analytical thinker with a robust technical background who can navigate complex IT landscapes and drive project success. This role will also require managing basic project management and methodologies (such as Scheduling, Scope, Resource Management, etc.) and when require the appropriate business process change management. Hands on approach to support, configure and manage CPQ applications is required. Knowledge of CPQ processes for durable goods specially in the Power and Energy sector. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Lead and actively participate in the execution of IT projects, focusing on CPQ Technologies. Deep knowledge being hands-on with Intelliquip CPQ, troubleshooting data structures, and ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient delivery. Engage with business to ascertain definition of business process and systems requirement. Understand business processes and pro-actively participate in identifying options and solutions for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provide ad-hoc support for system support requirements, e.g. system faults, ad-hoc information, minor changes, to satisfy business requirements, while operating within the Business Systems KPI targets (Service levels). Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of Business Systems operation. Serve as a subject matter expert, offering both technical guidance and hands-on support in CPQ. Create and nurture a collaborative environment, providing mentorship and fostering growth among junior staff, while also engaging directly in system configuration and management. Oversee the full project lifecycle, from conception through deployment. This includes not only managing projects but also contributing directly to innovative and strategic development work. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements and operational success, involving direct involvement in technical problem-solving and solution development. Interfacing with business users to train them on CPQ and interfacing with SAP and Web Methods experts to interface and troubleshoot system issues. Support the CPQ system including incident and problem resolution. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advanced understanding of Intelliquip CPQ is required. Knowledge of other CPQ systems preferred. In-depth knowledge of computer security and networking principles. Solid experience in design, coding, testing, and debugging. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing technical projects. Ability to solve complex problems and offer strategic guidance within CPQs for durable goods for power and energy products. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and support of junior team members. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Able to manage teams if the role or project requires it. Project Management and business process change management Proven ability to prioritize, schedule, and manage tasks for multiple overlapping projects. Self-directed with excellent initiative and organizational skills. Prioritization skills to handle requests efficiently and with a sense of urgency. Proactive, persistent, and dependable approach to work. Ownership and knowledge of business outcomes and impacts of the technology on the business process. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for the products being configured and the associated data. Mandatory Education and Experience B. Tech/B. E/MCA in a relevant field from a recognized university. An Engineering degree on a related field preferred. 10 years of experience in IT, with significant expertise in leading and executing projects.
