Description:
Experience : - 7+ years of experience in IT software project management, leading and managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.- Experience with and strong understanding of IT infrastructure, servers, and web applications.Skills and Abilities : - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks.- Proven ability to lead and drive the project planning and execution process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope.- Ability to think strategically and add value beyond just task management, focusing on continuous improvement and project optimization.- Familiarity with various Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile).- Prior experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Service Operation Management (SOM) principles is a plus.Responsibilities : - Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful project delivery and user adoption.- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.- Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams (development, testing, operations).- Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement.- Manage project budgets and track expenditures.- Report project status to stakeholders regularly.- Stay up-to-date on the latest project management methodologies and IT trends.Additional Information : - This role requires a strong understanding of IT project management principles and best practices.- Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira) is preferred.- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
