Working Hours: Evening Shift About the role: The Design department at Trusted Media Brands is seeking a Senior Motion Designer with management experience to join the company’s design team. This role demands a self-starter who can work independently, move quickly, and easily switch from project to project while managing a small-but-growing graphic and motion design team. This is a chance to work with and learn from a team of seasoned and fast-moving designers in a fun environment. This position reports to the Digital Visuals Manager, with a dotted line to the Senior Art Director based in the United States. About you: You are a motion designer with an impressive portfolio showcasing design and motion design. You can lead and mentor a team in India while collaborating closely with colleagues across continents and time zones. You are a highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver. You love developing systems and structures but can adapt quickly to a changing media environment. You have a passion for design, culture, art, and video. You are highly motivated, creative, and idea driven. You have experience with digital assets management and project management software. Your Day-to-Day: Manage a team of designers responsible for our brands’ streaming and social graphics Provide your team with constructive feedback to improve their contributions while also managing your own assignments Collaborate with the Digital Visuals Manager and Senior Art Director to remain on top of deadlines and to plan proactively for future work Create visuals that align with the brand aesthetics and handle motion design and design requests for our streaming content Assist in creating graphic elements, including logos, lower-thirds and other on-screen elements such as titles, end cards and transitions for various online programming and series Concept and design for show and channel identities and graphics packages, from the show open and backgrounds elements to set and scenic design for Social and Streaming programming Incorporate revisions per feedback as appropriate, ensuring approved layouts conform to style guides Delivering final assets to the appropriate teams and stakeholder Contribute to creative brainstorms for various new initiatives You have: 5+ years’ experience in a design role creating motion and still graphics for broadcast and digital media At least two years’ experience managing graphic and motion designers A working knowledge of design, animation, mogrts, video and interactive software, including but not limited to Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere A strong graphic design sensibility, creative approach and collaborative spirit A deep understanding of animation principles and motion design A meticulous attention to detail and commitment to overall product quality Strong visual style and a thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, images and interactivity impact design A solid understanding of broadcast and streaming design, including network and show graphics You are knowledgeable in the production process (e.g., optimizing graphics, compression settings and file size, and image optimization) About this team: Trusted Media Brands’ editors, designers, photographers, videographers, set stylists and culinary professionals create content that brings people together over the love of shared pastimes.
