Job Title : Senior Python EngineerLocation : ChennaiJob Description :We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline, along with at least 7+ years of overall experience as a Back-end or Full-Stack Developer, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience specifically in Python development.Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end systems and applications using Python v3.x.Utilize object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts to build efficient and maintainable code.Develop and implement RESTful APIs using JSON and Swagger for communication between different components.Work with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Queues, and Topics to build and deploy cloud-based solutions.Utilize databases as needed and have working knowledge in at least one database technology.Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, ensuring reproducibility and scalability of deployment environments.Utilize Sumo Logic for log aggregation and monitoring purposes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement microservices-based architectures.Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in software development and cloud computing.Requirements :Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.Minimum of 7+ years of overall experience as a Back-end or Full-Stack Developer, with at least 4+ years of experience in Python development.Strong knowledge of Python v3.x language and object-oriented programming concepts.Experience working with REST APIs and familiarity with JSON and Swagger.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, Queues, and Topics is preferred.Working knowledge of databases.Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code is an added advantage.Familiarity with Sumo Logic for log aggregation is a plus.Knowledge of microservices architecture is desirable.
