We are looking for people who are excited to build technology capabilities in the mobile and e-commerce space at scale. Position Overview : - As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing the quality assurance activities for our e-commerce platform.- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.- Your expertise in test planning, test execution, and basic automation knowledge will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and stability of our e-commerce systems.Responsibilities :- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of test strategies and test plans for our e-commerce platform, considering both functional and non-functional requirements.- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define clear and comprehensive test cases and acceptance criteria.- Conduct thorough and systematic testing of our Database, web, and mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.- Utilize basic automation knowledge to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the testing process.- Perform database testing and have a strong understanding of basic SQL and database concepts.- Monitor and analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.- Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for optimization, implementing best practices, and staying up to date with emerging testing methodologies and tools.- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring the successful resolution and prevention of future incidents.- Participate in release management activities, coordinating with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and successful software deployments.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Equivalent work experience will also be considered.- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications.- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking.- Knowledge of basic automation and the ability to automate repetitive tasks.- Experience in API Testing using tools.- Solid knowledge of basic SQL and database concepts for performing database testing.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.- Basic Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner, is highly desirable.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate risks and issues effectively.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Proven ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality software.- Plus points if you have worked on a product-based company with the preferred domain of ecommerce.
