Job Description : Required Experience : - 5+ years of experience as a software engineer : Demonstrated track record of working in software engineering roles, with at least 5 years of experience.- Strong proficiency in Rust : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Rust programming language.- Native level proficiency in written and oral English : Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.- Excellent communication skills : Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and collaborate with team members.- Prior experience working remotely : Experience working remotely in a globally distributed team, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones and cultures.Bonus Experience : - Experience with blockchain and rollup technologies : Familiarity with blockchain technology and rollup technologies is a plus.- Experience working with embedded systems : Previous experience working with embedded systems would be beneficial.- Experience developing or designing P2P distributed systems : Knowledge of and experience with developing or designing peer-to-peer distributed systems.- Experience with financial systems or other high security services : Exposure to financial systems or other high-security services would be advantageous.- Consuming and contributing to open source codebases : Experience with consuming and contributing to open-source codebases.Responsibilities : - Rust Development : Utilize strong proficiency in Rust to develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable software solutions.- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver features that meet business needs.- Code Review : Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.- Communication : Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and partners to provide updates, gather requirements, and address technical challenges.- Problem Solving : Identify and address technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions to complex problems.- Documentation : Document code, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability of codebase.- Continuous Learning : Stay updated with advancements in Rust and related technologies, continuously improving skills and contributing to the growth of the team.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Rust : - In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Rust programming language. - Ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable software solutions in Rust.Software Engineering : - At least 5 years of experience in software engineering roles. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, design patterns, and best practices.Version Control Systems : - Proficiency with Git for version control. - Experience with branching, merging, pull requests, and collaborative workflows.Testing and Debugging : - Skills in writing and maintaining unit, integration, and system tests. - Proficiency in debugging and performance profiling tools.Code Review and Quality Assurance : - Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices. - Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.Blockchain and Rollup Technologies : Familiarity with blockchain technology and rollup solutions.Embedded Systems : Experience developing software for embedded systems.P2P Distributed Systems : Knowledge of and experience with developing or designing peer-to-peer distributed systems.Open Source Contribution : Experience consuming and contributing to open-source codebases.
