About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team in India. About you: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agile methodologies, technical project management and extensive experience working with cross-functional digital teams. Proficiency in Jira and other project management tools is essential. As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for partnering closely with our development and QA team members to deliver high performing digital products while adhering to quality metrics, timelines and budgets.This position will report to the Vice President of Project Management Office. Location: We have an office in Gurgaon. We require you work in our office 2 days per week working fromhome 3 days. Working from home requires good internet for video meetings with US basedstakeholders.Your workday must overlap 4 hours with US EST time zone. Your Day-to-Day (aka Responsibilities): Lead cross functional development on new features from design through to delivery for mobile and web applications Develop and champion processes for efficiency and scale in our organization Ensure business requirements are converted to technical tasks by the development team and that they collectively meet the business needs and performance expectations Deliver releases in sync with launch timelines and communicate regularly with leadership on status, schedule, risk and change control Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple teams Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital project management and agile methodologies You Have (aka Requirements): 8-10 years’ of experience in technical project management 5+ years’ experience working in an agile environment Experience managing projects across functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus Strong knowledge and practical experience with agile methodologies Proficiency in project management tools to plan, track, and report on project progress. Advanced Jira and Confluence experience required (certifications a plus) Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical requirements Experience delivering website development projects Experience in defining and leading cross platform release process Light programming skills of PHP, Java, SQL Experience in GAM, Wordpress, Gitlab, TestRails or similar tools a plus Actively and responsibility using AI for project management functions a plus About this team: The Department partners with various product owners throughout our trusted media brands company to expand our internal as well as external user facing applications.
